Caramel Apple Marshmallow Pops

This was an expiriment that turned out fabulous! I was originally going to dip marshmallows in chocolate and then add various toppings like graham crackers and sprinkles but then as I was walking in the craft store I spotted these new Wilton's melts that were Caramel Apple flavor.. I thought, "hmmm.. That could be perfect!"

These are so easy. All you need are the Wilton's melts, you know, they come in a bag and you melt them in the microwave. And regular sized marshmallows. I put mine on little candy sticks to make them like a lolipop, which are also found in the candy making section of the craft store. And I added sprinkles for texture.

Melt the caramel apple pieces according to package directions. Place a marshmallow on the stick first if you are using them and simply dip one end of the marshmallow in the candy coating. Pick up by the marshmallow and not the stick. You can either let them dry on wax paper which will create a flat top or insert the stick into some foam to dry upright. And that is it. You can go above and beyond by adding sprinkles or decorations or leave just the candy coating.

They were a hit at our bake sale but these would be great for a party or extra special snack.
