Quick Cinnamon Bites with Warm Caramel Drizzle

These are so super easy you're not going to believe you never thought of it or tried it before! Similar to a monkey bread this a pull apart bread that makes for easy snacking with its bite size pieces. Great for an after dinner treat or an indulgent breakfast.

What you need:
1 can of canned biscuits
1/4 cup of cinnamon and sugar mixture
2-3 tbl butter, melted
Caramel sauce for drizzling

Preheat oven to 350.

Cut each of the biscuit rounds in quarters. Roll each of the pieces in the cinnamon and sugar mixture and place in a baking dish. Once all biscuit pieces are coated and in the baking dish, poor the melted butter over the pieces. Bake for 15-20 min.

Once your cinnamon bites are done poor some warm caramel sauce over them and enjoy while warm. You might as well eat them all, or share them, because they won't be as good left over.

Cinnamon and sugar mixture: I keep cinnamon and sugar mixture on hand for a variety of occasions, on tortillas, toast, apples, etc. I combine 1/4 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, and about just about 3-4 tablespoons of cinnamon (more or less to your liking). I keep it in an air tight jar in my pantry for for quick access, it's very handy.

Easy Caramel Sauce:
1stick butter
1cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup heavy cream
1/4 tsp salt

In sauce pan melt butter over low heat. Add brown sugar to dissolve and then stir in cream. Bring to a slight bubble and let bubble for 2 minutes while stirring. Add in salt and remove from heat.

It really is that easy!
